This workshop was held in 2001. Cambridge is hosting the December 2002 workshop - go to 13th UK Async Forum Page.
The UK Asynchronous Forum is an informal 1-day meeting where those working in asynchronous design in the UK (and particularly research students) can meet to present and discuss ideas. The event is optimised for UK participants though others are welcome to attend. See the UK Asynchronous Forum home page for further details.
Extended abstracts of not more than 4 pages must be submitted to Alex Yakovlev (alex.yakovlev@newcastle.ac.uk) by 3rd December. Abstracts must be sent in either ASCII, postscript (which must be viewable with ghostview) or pdf.
The general structure of these forums is below.
| Morning | Afternoon | Evening | |
| 17th December, 2001 | travel | talks | dinner |
| 18th December, 2001 | talks | travel |
Please see the programme page for further details.
The 11th UK Asynchronous Circuits Forum is being hosted by the Computer Laboratory (directions to the Computer Laboratory building).
Accommodation and dinner will be at Trinity Hall, one of the 35 Cambridge Colleges (and not to be confused with Trinity College in Cambridge - Trinity Hall is much older).
Cambridge has little parking for cars, and what there is is expensive. We are unable to provide parking spaces at the Computer Lab or at Trinity Hall (which is actually land locked by the pedestrianised streets between 10am and 4pm). We therefore advise that you travel by train or coach. The train station is 1 mile from the center and there is a shuttle bus which runs every 8 minutes into the center. The coach station (Drummer Street) is right in the center. If you have to travel by car then we suggest that you use the Park and Ride facilities signed posted from the major highways.
Registration is closed for the 11th Async Forum (2001).
