This workshop was held in 2002. Cambridge is hosting the January 2004 workshop - go to 15th UK Async Forum Page.
The UK Asynchronous Forum is an informal 1-day meeting where those working in asynchronous design in the UK (and particularly research students) can meet to present and discuss ideas. The event is optimised for UK participants though others are welcome to attend. See the UK Asynchronous Forum home page for further details.
Extended abstracts of not more than 4 pages must be submitted to Alex Yakovlev (alex.yakovlev@newcastle.ac.uk) by 2rd December. Abstracts must be sent in either ASCII, postscript (which must be viewable with ghostview) or pdf.
The general structure of these forums is below.
| Morning | Afternoon | Evening | |
| 16th December, 2002 | travel | talks | dinner |
| 17th December, 2002 | talks | travel |
The full program is now available.
The 13th UK Asynchronous Circuits Forum is being hosted by the Computer Laboratory. Please go directly to the Computer Laboratory where the talks will be held - see the directions to the Computer Laboratory building.
Accommodation and dinner will be at Trinity Hall, one of the 35 Cambridge Colleges (and not to be confused with Trinity College in Cambridge - Trinity Hall is much older). Please check-in after the afternoon of talks, but before dinner. See Downloads below for a local map and directions.
Cambridge has little parking for cars, and what there is is expensive. We can provide some overnight parking at the Computer Lab by prior arrangement. However, we advise that you travel by train or coach. The train station is 1 mile from the center and there is a shuttle bus which runs every 8 minutes into the center. The coach station (Drummer Street) is right in the center. The Computer Lab is approximately 1 mile from the center. See Downloads below for a local map and directions.
Please register online.
A map giving walking directions between Trinity Hall and the Computer Laboratory plus a map of Trinity Hall is available in PDF format: map and directions.
